Hi,

I'm afraid that this bug report will be slightly
sketchy, because my computer crashed without writing a
single thing to disk and completely locked up the
keyboard so that SysRq didn't work.

I am running Linux 2.4.17, SMP, 1.25 GB RAM, devfs and
ALSA CVS. I have an EMU10K1 card and was doing the
following at the time, "just for fun":

$ pmidi -p65:0 /usr/lib/sounds/passport.mid&
$ pmidi -p65:3 /usr/lib/sounds/canyon.mid&
$ pmidi -p65:3 /usr/lib/sounds/canyon.mid&

The system was fine (I think) until the first client
on port 65:0 finished. This is when the keyboard and
mouse froze and the sequencer just kept on playing the
same bits from the other two MIDI files over and over.

I am using pmidi version 1.5.4. I have *not* tried to
reproduce this lockup...

Cheers,
Chris
