Alright, this is rather frustrating so I hope someone can help. I got the driver loaded and it appears to be working. However, I have no sound and I believe it's because I have to unmute the card using a mixer. I can't get the libraries to compile, hence I can't get the utilities to compile either. I'm using 0.9.0beta10 drivers, libraries, and utilities for my Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card. When I'm in the libraries main directory ./configure runs fine, but when I enter make I get an error at the end of it. Everything seems to run fine until this point:
Making all in aserver ... ../src/.libs/libasound.so: undefined reference to 'atexit' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make [1] *** [aserver] Error 1 make [1] Leaving directory '/usr/src/alsa/alsa-lib-0.9.0beta10a/aserver' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 I have no idea how to fix this. Can I use the stable libraries and utilities with the beta driver? Or is there another mixer that I can use to unmute the sound? I've come too far to accept defeat now.
