Hi All.

I'm new to ALSA, been around linux for a while though. All sound plays
about 15-20% too fast on my system. The system is a Dell GX50 using
an i810 motherboard. I've tried setting snd_ac97_clock= to:
20050 - No sound at all
20500 - No sound at all
22050 - Sound still too fast
32955 - Sound still too fast
41194 - Sound still too fast
44100 - Sound still too fast
49432 - Sound still too fast

Here's my modules.conf

pre-install pcmcia_core CARDMGR_OPTS=-f /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start
alias usb-interface usb-uhci
alias eth0 3c59x
alias char-major-116 snd
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias snd-card-0 snd-card-intel8x0 snd_ac97_clock=22050
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss

Is there a specific set of clockrates that work with this card? Has
anyone had any luck with this configuration?

Thanks, Jeff
