Hi all, especially Jaroslav! The subject very much says it all. I have tried everything I think. mplayer, xine, aplay, ac3dec mplayer and xine output is attached, mplayer brings up an error and xine just doesn't play sound.
aplay -D 'iec958:AES0=0x2,AES1=0x82,AES2=0x0,AES3=0x2' -f dat test.ac3 plays but I hear nothing. ac3dec test.ac3 plays and I have stereo PCM over SPDIF and normal analog output (depending on ADC/DAC and SB Live Analog/Digital Output Jack settings) ac3dec with -P/R/C plays but I hear nothing alsamixer reports: Card: Sound Blaster Live! Chip: SigmaTel STAC9708/11 Does anyone have an idea what to do? I heard that older cards don't work, but mine is pretty new.
