I am trying to install alsa-driver-0.5.12a under Mandrake 8.1. When runing the "configure" script I recive the following errors:
checking for kernel version... expr: syntax error expr: syntax error expr: syntax error fail (probably missing /usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h) The kernel version information for mandrake 8.1 is held in the /usr/include/linux/version.h file. how do I alert the configure script to these changes? Is there a command line swich, or should i edit the hard code, and if so what parts?
