Try snd-card-ymfpci or equivalent.

That is because you have loaded the oss drivers not the alsa drivers.
Have you configured your /etc/modules.conf yet?

NO and  yes. If you install the alsa drivers correctly then you may or
may not use alsa native or the oss emulation. It really depends on which
api you use. Some only have internal support for oss which requires the
oss emulation others like alsaplayer, ardour, glame, ecasound poss xmms
(with a plugin) can use alsa directly.
