Linux Question... if you dont know the answer.. your not alone i'm using RedHat 7.1, kernel 2.4.9 with ALSA 0.5.12 drivers. I'm trying to configure /dev/dsp to play PCM at 44100 16 bits, but i'm stuck with 8000 8bits. How i can change that to be 44100 16bits defaults values ? ex: cat song.PCM > /dev/dsp (pcm containt pcm data...)
