Sorry if this has already been covered, I have gone through the other e-mails concering this, I am not sure if I have a bad card or the drivers for this feature is not working. I compiled and made sure everyting was turned on and the flag in asound.conf was set to true, I can pull out the plug and see the light but no sound is comming through, the mixer show volume capture is at 100 not muted and SPDIF Record is at 100 and not mutued. I should back up and tell you that after I got the drivers working and did a modprobe on the ymfpci card I did get sound out of it. I then thought I would have the sound start when the system boots by including the alias to the sound cards, and now when the system boots I hear the sound, and play a CD, the mini disk reports that there is a signal but no sound. The other part is I have ADSL modem and after I start that service I have no sound what so ever. Bruce Fausey
