Hello! I'll try to get alsa 0.9beta7 again running on my laptop. I had it once running, but somehow with the newer kernels (I don't remember, when it exactly started) I get followng type of messages when I try /etc/init.d/alsa start (on an unstable Debian system btw.):
Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.12-ac3/alsa/snd.o will taint the kernel: no license (which also reveals that I use an 2.4.12 ac3 kernel :) Any ideas?
