To get around this problem the software I use, 'DV-Pro 3239 cav' (compaion 
software for my sound desk), it makes a directory which contains 67 mono 
audio files. Split into 32 channels of left & right signal,  and then Left 
Right & Mono masters are also recoreded. You might look at that for one way 
to handle things, thought how you'd do that I have no idea.
