For this specific infraction, you voluntarily deputized for an abandoned office to get something important done. In the past, we have had significant issues getting people to track things because they are concerned that they will be harshly punished for making minor mistakes. So in modern Agoran culture, infractions tend to go unnoted if they are unintentional and investigated infractions tend to have their fines reduced to the extent that the effects of the mistake are immaterial.
If you'd like, I can note your infraction and you could request an increased fine, just to get the blot economy flowing.
