Hi, As per a recent petition to the office of the Absurdor, I was thinking about possible patent titles (or other recognitions). I would like feedback.
I'm not sure how to turn all of these into titles, so I'll list here what I though were interesting or unusual situations that could deserve recognition: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RECORDS By height (1, 10, 100, 1000) By speed (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, …) By latest single push By latest push By earliest push ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EDGE CASES Two pushes less than 5 minutes appart by two different players Two pushes less than 5 minutes appart by a single player A push during a leap second A push as the first action a new player took A push right before deregistering Every registered player pushed this week Only one player pushed this week No players pushed this week ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DISTINCTIONS Top pusher of a specific year Top pusher of a specific time period Pusher in a streak where the Boulder broke some record ---------------------------------------------------------------------- A long time ago I had thought of some mechanism to award “surprise” recognitions as they happened, sorta creating an exploration mini-mini-game where players were to try weird things to see if some pre-defined definitions were triggered (kinda like a reverse-bingo), but nothing came of it. -- juan Absurdor
