You can and should if you want to! I didn't mean to discourage, only to
warn that Assessor is pretty difficult. We've had occasions in the past
where a newer player took on one of the harder roles and the game ceased
to be fun for them and became a chore, and they promptly quit. At the
same time, you absolutely should be allowed to and encouraged to get
more involved however you want. That's why I think there should be some
direct communication between the incumbent and you, to see what it
really entails and whether you're still interested when you've seen that.
