In terms of "what kind of number", you might get some mileage out of this part of R2509, in that a Fine must be a whole number of blots (strongly implicit in R2557), so that a "Class N Crime" implicitly refers to a "number of items": > A "number of (items)", where > (items) is a set of discrete entities, is considered to refer to a > non-negative integer, unless otherwise explicitly specified.
