This could be a fun direction to go. One thought: if everyone is equally punished, there might not be much motivation for any individual to fix it, except that if we're getting a lot of blots, someone wanting to win the game might need to fix it first. Another thought: in February G. told us [0] about an old rule called The Pariah, which encouraged players to enforce minor rule violations against whoever held that office. This makes me think of creating an officeholder we can point our finger at for rule violations that nobody else is responsible for, but I don't think that would work very well --- the other players wouldn't have motivation to fix up the rules to stop silly things like rules violating other rules (see the other thread I just revived). But maybe some tweak to the concept is possible, like just giving a reward to anyone who points out a non-player is guilty of something. Not sure how it should work.
