Objection: ‘alphonse’ generally comes before ‘Bob’ in an alphabetical list. Hence my question about your name: I suspected someone would apply “lexical order” but my name comes significantly after VJ Rada’s name by that standard, and I’m not convinced it should. Generally, If we mean lexical order, we should say so. Collation is a hard problem and using terms fuzzily only makes it harder. -o
