It’s not at all clear how that works, or even if it works, but the intent is clear and I think it would be unfair not to allow you to stop upholding a promise in _precisely the way you initially promised to do so_. I’m content to leave this pledge out of the next version of the proposal, and to wait until you resolve this notice before revising the proposal.
