Counterarguments: The action in question is registering. To me, this still is a clear announcement that you register, therefore is an attempt to register by aannouncement. "I am becum reg1stored for dis geim" has some typos, but is clearly readable. Just saying "I intend to become a player at this time" wouldn't assert that you were registering.
