Oh, fun, a discussion of the labour value theory of economics versus the 
utility theory of economics. We could be here for weeks figuring this out.

Without any sarcasm whatsoever, I am curious which theory Agorans would rather 
apply, here. Personally, I lean towards incentivising the work we need done - 
basically, the utility theory - by increasing the pay given for completing it. 
However, I am, putting it mildly, sympathetic to your point that some reports 
take a ton of time to generate, and that that time investment should be 
rewarded. It’s a difficult question, because of course incentivising difficult 
jobs also has the effect of making it worthwhile to increase the difficulty of 
a job.

I’d likely vote FOR a proposal along either lines. I’m interested in the 
consequences either way, even if I do have a preference for which I’d rather 
explore.
