I realize I am new at the Nomic, but I have played many Nomics and love the game and am doing this game to try and learn more about other games for my main game. Before I get too far into this and foul the game up, I have some questions: 1. How often are rulesets released? 2. Is there a limit to daily posting? 3. Are there any current discussions going on? 4. What direction is the game moving? Thanks, Publius 1. The SLR (short ruleset, no annotations), is in theory released once a week, I think. The FLR (full version) is supposed to be released once a month. Neither of these have been published since at least some time in December, because the officers are behind on our reports. December is the last time many substantial proposals passed, so you just have to look at them and apply them against the last ruleset. Look at the OFF archive for more. 2. Not to posting, but there are to some game actions, such as proposals and CFJs. Those limits are is the rules. The main one you're likely to bump into is the pend fee on proposals, but you can make them, just not pend them (render them ready to be distributed and voted upon). 3. See the DIS archives. Oh, and also the backup channel (BAK, also known as tue, not used much). You seem to have found the main thing at the moment, although I made a draft proposal about assets (property) a few months ago, which I haven't gotten to revising yet. 4. It really isn't. I have some ideas (assets, contracts) siting around, but I don't have the time I'd need to finish them. Assets may get done soon, contracts won't. As I said above, most of the officers haven't been reporting, which leads to nothing happening... Vicious cycle. Hopefully you may wake things up some. I may take some things over if I have time for them, and there are a few other people around who might be able to do more. -Aris
