Random thought:

1. In the Herald's report, all "wins" since 2001 have basically been
     under Champion.

2. In the elder days, there were some distinctive other win awards
that are now immortalized (e.g. Winner's Cups).

3. Taking 1 and 2 together, Ribbons, being a long term "winner of
winners" type idea, deserves it's own long-term category of
     immortality outside of champion.

I'm not sure what the right ornament would be (thoughts, ais523?).
A random idea would be: assign each ribbon a value in colorspace
(RGB, HSV, whatever). When someone wins, average all the ribbons
they used, and award them a Grand Ribbon of the new special color.

(this is only really interesting if there are multiple paths to
a ribbon win which isn't currently true, but I think it should be
true - I don't like that in the current ribbon rule. While this
could be done through the Herald's general award of unique patent
titles, I think it would be More Fun if it were explicit).

Thoughts?
