Actually, I place the lull squarely on the absence of gamestate reports from all officers. Some people were busy for a bit (Murphy), some people left due to the scam (guilty as charged there), some people, it seems, were just lazy. When a report is published, people react to it. Yesterday a bunch of officers' reports/activity and hey presto, 64 messages to read in a day. -G.
