Actually, I might know why you find it big enough: your monitor may be pack, say, 84 pixels into an inch (a common size for the more lower-end monitors) and yet your Windows pixels-per-inch setting is at its default, 96. Therefore Windows, when trying to display something to be N inches, uses more pixels than it should as it has an incorrect impression of your display's resolution. So, more pixels displayed on lower resolution = physically bigger. It really is tiny.
