I believe the wording would make it so a correct From: header that unambiguously identified the message as being from a specific player would still be an effective claim of the identity of a publisher. I think if that doesn't work under the proposed language, it probably doesn't work under the current language and every message that wasn't signed outside the headers has been invalid.
