It seems like it would be difficult starting out. To begin, I could create a location from the Explorers' Club for 3 compasses, which would immediately become my capitol, and then anybody could invade it for one compass; I would gain two compasses but then immediately lose them to the invader, who would thereby have made a profit of one compass. Of course, then somebody else could do the same thing to em. If I instead create two locations, one of which is not connected to the Explorers' Club, then I'm even more screwed. I don't have enough compasses left over to change my capitol, which must therefore be the location adjacent to the Explorers' Club. Somebody could invade that for one compass, and then the second location would be my capitol, and the same somebody could invade that as well for a second compass. Both times, I would gain two compasses but then lose one to the invader. I would end up with 3 compasses, whereas the invader would still have eir full 7, plus both my locations. In summary: capitols need to be defensible. -root
