Judgment isn't an obligation....I could lie down if I wished and never
judge a case. Yes, somebody has to judge the boring cases I suppose,
but there does seem to be a group of players here who enjoy doing so.
Isn't it better that I judge some cases rather than none at all?

IMHO part of the problem is that of late there has been a glut of
cases that require a lot of work on the part of the judge and have
little value in determining precedent. I used to have to recuse myself
from a lot less cases because most of the cases were at least
interesting and/or truly dealt with important matters of controversy.
