I deputise for the Assessor to resolve the Agoran decision on
whether
to adopt proposal 5582. The option selected by Agora is ADOPTED,
and
the votes were:
Sgeo FOR
Goethe FOR
Zefram AGAINST
Nick Vanderweit (avpx) FOR
BobTHJ AGAINST
woggle FOR
root PRESENT
Eris AGAINST
ais523 FOR
Quazie AGAINST
Wooble FOR
Pavitra AGAINST
This is 6 FOR, 5 AGAINST, 1 PRESENT.
Congratulations, Elliott Hird, you're a player.
My records also show
OscarMeyr AGAINST
PNP FOR
Can someone verify that the PNP's vote was effective? If so, then
OscarMeyr's vote doesn't affect the overall outcome.
How could the PNP's vote be effective? It was a democratic proposal.
You're right, being promoted to that status despite AI=1 doesn't
change that.
I can't find a vote from OscarMeyr in the archives, so I won't CoE
until/unless someone turns up positive evidence.
On July 4, I said:

For Props. 5577 to 5598, I vote AGAINST all Democratic proposals and
3xFOR, 3xAGAINST all Ordinary proposals.

The question is, did that vote get out, or did I have yet another
mail client booch?
