I don't know if my host can be configured to send e-mail, and even if
it can, I don't want to try.  (It does act as a POP3 server, but only
for internal use; the root account's mail is forwarded to my personal
account, which then gets pulled to my laptop on request.)

The eventual web form will probably incorporate an equivalent to
setdate:  "open <link to format.php> this </link> in a new window,
copy+paste and send it, then copy+paste its Date: header here [   ]"
