Well, go ahead and do it then, although I'll leave my objection in place because I agree with Ivan that the change should specify a report frequency. It should probably also specify a means of replacing the Treasurer in case you unexpectedly disappear for a while (although we could collectively buy enough pens to put you below 10%, cause you to cease being a Banker after a week, and then change the contract assuming everyone else is around to consent, that would be a bit annoying).
