So if I go to Joe's for lunch, then I'm eating at home instead of
going to Joe's for lunch? Looks to me that it's a & ~b: I have to eat
at home and not go to Joe's for lunch. I'll forget about how that
implies that I was originally intending to go to Joe's but then
decided to eat at home instead.
