It looks like VLOPs are "parameters", but I don't see a typing anywhere, other then that their default values happen to be non-negative integers. Is there anything I'm missing forbidding their values from being negative, complex, or for that matter from being 'green cheese'? (I know for the latter, there's no mechanism for such cave-ripening).
