Let’s say you practice particular religious beliefs. But a government has 
determined that those beliefs interfere with their authority. So your cognitive 
functions are modified over time via BCI where you are steered away from those 
beliefs and for example your country is going to war soon and the government 
needs more soldiers. And you have been BCI'd to where you believe the opposing 
country is evil and you now want to kill them all and that has become 
acceptable where previously you would have been against taking human lives. But 
this war would benefit the world economy. Wouldn't that scenario be a problem? 
Or does the world economy's health take precedence over individual beliefs?
