I'm checking your website, wow nice. I agree senses=actions. I was working last year on a simple design that does everything using just the design below. It builds text into a massive memory hierarchy in RAM. It can re-adjust hierarchies based on frequencies etc. - It can work unsupervised. It's discrete like yours, no weights. Each node builds slowest - using only 2 children nodes. It can have more if none were seen below it ex. 'at' in 'hat'. While this is extremely interesting design, it still requires a heterarchy like w2v or Glove. This is only a hierarchy.
