No, it's not easy. Most "AGI researchers" here don't even get a simple fact that intelligence is not skills and knowledge but the ability to learn them. Action / controlling environment is not necessary and should be instrumental value for trans- dressed-up-apes. Learning is perception, AKA pattern recognition and prediction | planning, scalable to a conceptual level. It doesn't need any other purpose, pure curiosity: science for its own sake, is a superior motive / fitness function.
