Many theaters have a discount Tuesday. Marcus is near us and it's $6 for a regular screen all day Thursday if you have their free membership.
Cinemark is $5.75 on Tuesday with free membership I think. Check with local theaters too who may offer a discount day. I only go to movies on Tuesdays for the cheaper pricing and smaller crowds.
