How did you score $5.50 tickets? I haven’t been to a movie theater in maybe 20 years, but I remember admission prices going crazy.
The little theater in Glen Ellyn has all the first run movies, I should probably try it because it’s something like a 5 block walk from my house. When we moved here, they hadn’t divided it into multiple theaters yet. As a kid I remember going to the theater in LaGrange and sitting in the balcony. I think some of the movies we saw there included Bambi and Babes in Toyland, probably some other Disney movies. Fackham Hall. Think Naked Gun meets Downton Abbey. Well worth the $5.50 we paid for admission, But you have to like British humor. Will be getting the dvd when it comes out to see what visual gags I missed.
