Ya, we have more up to date data, we are working on importing about 220 TB of

I couldn't quickly find an archive of the old Radio Mobile Yahoo discussion
group, so asking in AFMUG as I suspect it's one of the larger agglomerations of
RM users (although I believe that most of you fine people are from the USA, not
Canada).

The Radio Mobile VE2DBE site's Landcover data page says that their data for
Canada is from Natural Resources Canada circa 2000 at Geobase.ca (that site now
offline). I looked at the downloadable files on their site and most files
inside the zips are dated ~2009. I have some radio links that I designed in RM
where there were inaccurate signal levels due to "missing forests" which I
suspect are due to out-of-date or incorrect Landcover data.

At open.Canada.ca<http://open.Canada.ca> there is a page with "2020 Land Cover
of Canada" data, but it's of course not in the RM-specific .LCV format - seems
to be in a 2GB TIFF file that I have no idea how to separate/ process.

So I was wondering if anyone here has experience with or has converted the
above, or similar data, to RM format.

Thank you,
