I actually pay google but it is very slow to learn to direct the traffic and show the ads. So far, they have not displayed a single paid ad that I know if. You would think they would be all over it. Perhaps the others are bidding more. That is how it works. At least it is getting better. Thanks for helping.

Google search for "apc prm4": I found you 5th down on the 2nd page, not counting the sponsored links. Google search: "apc prm24" You were the 5th hit on the 1st page There are SEO people who supposedly can help with this. The couple of SEO people I met seemed very sure of themselves, but it sounds like it's a moving target. I suspect Google wants actual relevance as opposed to exploits to their algorithm, so when the SEO people have a good trick that works it will only work until Google realizes and changes something. That's my impression anyway. I wonder what it costs to just pay Google for placement. -Adam -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: AF <af-boun...@af.afmug.com> on behalf of ch...@go-mtc.com <ch...@go-mtc.com> Sent: Thursday, January 30, 2025 7:13 PM To: af@af.afmug.com <af@af.afmug.com> Subject: [AFMUG] OT Marketing help Asking for a favor: I need as many people as I can get to do the following 4 google searches: apc prm4 apc prm24 prm4 prm24 You will see search returns for a somewhat popular product that is no longer made by APC. They discontinued it but it is still advertised all over the place. When I learned they were discontinuing these rack mounts for surge suppressors, I recreated them and have it now them production. Most of my surge suppressors fit this rack so I had to either come up with a rack or stop selling surge suppressors. Having a hard time getting Google to notice this. If you happen to see my website pop up, please click on it and go to our website. The only one likely to show us at the moment is PRM4. Trying to train Google that people really are looking for these keywords. I tell Google on my paid marketing that I want to display ads when people search for these items and Google comes back and says nobody ever searches for these items... Takes forever to get Google to slowly recognize something new. Even when you pay them for it.
