I should not be surprised, but we just had a customer cancel by text message. First time for us, but I guess it's probably commonplace. Big companies fire employees by text message, don't they? And couples break up by text message. Maybe they have their AI assistants do it. Alexa, break up with Chad for me.
We get texts via an SMS-to-email gateway, so at first I thought I was responding to an email.
