I'm stunned and amazed that DirectTV is getting away with this. There's no-way they are not going to go bankrupt soon and then how you going to get your money back?  Streaming providers are just grifting everyone, they're more like a busload of lawyers looking for a cliff to drive over.

Streaming services seem to be testing how far they can crank up the price before people cancel, but IMHO the one good thing about streaming is they are all month-to-month services.  The free trials have mostly disappeared, but you can cancel any time.

So help me understand the DirecTV streaming version.  No satellite dish to install, they just send you a cheap looking little dongle.  And the monthly price is up there with the most expensive streaming packages that include live TV.

So how do they get away with requiring a 24 month contract, with a $20/mo ETF?  Why would anyone sign a 2 year contract for a streaming service?  And what are they providing that justifies a $400+ early termination fee if you cancel?
