Those are statements which make good headlines. The real hard work is finding 
and fixing vulnerabilities one at a time, and whether the vendors are focused 
on fixing them as they are found. That’s the day-to-day work, and more specific 
than saying the equivalent of “everyone in Texas has been compromised” or 
something stupid like that.

I hope the manufacturers are seriously focused on specific issues. I think the 
ones chasing only quarterly profits probably are less so.
