When lawyers retire, usually some bigger firm buys them out and acquires their client list. Life goes on, but prices go up. Most of the paperwork is done by paralegals anyway.
Do you have a tax accountant? Ask what law firm their other clients use. Or maybe ask at the local chamber of commerce, they might know.
