minutes. Chicken, turkey and duck: 165ºF or 140ºF held for 30 minutes or 130ºF

Veggies and produce are terrible after just a few days. A bottle of sugar
sounds to be good for years.
Cooking doesn't make it sterile. Think cold vs nuked pizza.

Don’t recall. Odd how long something can stay, unused and unnoticed in a
cupboard. I guess I don’t use it that much. High sugar content, no moldy
taste, I figured it was safe. Sugar, Salt or Acid is generally OK.
My kids toss it as soon as the use by is hit.
I was raised on a farm with farm hands in the summer. No AC. Small fridge.
Luke warm water to drink. My mother would put the remnants of the morning
breakfast out with a paper tower over it for folks to snack on all day long. I
have always felt the cooking process sterilizes food so it should be safe for a
few days if left out and protected from flies.

Does it "expire" or is it "best by"?

Exp 2012, never in fridge. Tastes great. If I croak that may be why.
