The issue with Micro$oft is that the company is old enough now that all the original a**holes have retired, and now we have a whole new set of a**holes who never learned anything from the original a**holes.
Apple is pretty much the same (minus a couple of years), plus they all just *KNOW* their a**holes can't possibly stink. My traveling laptop is now a chromebook that I have configured to run lacros, which is basically Debian Linux (or maybe a slightly unique fork of Debian if you prefer). On top of it I can run the box-stock linux version of Chrome (and pretty much all other linux browsers). It is my favorite because it runs "closer to the metal" than either Windows or MacOS. -- bp part15sbs{at}gmail{dot}com On Sat, Jun 29, 2024 at 10:13 AM Steve Jones <thatoneguyst...@gmail.com> wrote: > I LOVE Microsoft > These guys are the best > One of my favorites is making the network adapter like 30 billion clicks > deep and throwing in the new network adapter settings thing that screws up > nerd configs.
