For years and years I've been using emails sent to phonenum...@vtext.com to
send network alerts to my cellphone. Recently it seems that has started
randomly rate limiting me, thereby delaying alerts for several hours. Smtp
delivery to vtext.com is just deferred with a random error message. I was
wondering how others are getting notifications to their mobile device. I could
use 10DLC via my voip carrier, but that comes with its own whole set of
regulations and possible fines when used for A2P. Verizon has an 'enterprise
messaging'
https://www.verizon.com/business/products/voice-collaboration/business-sms-solutions/
that says it is a direct replacement for vtext, but there is no pricing, so
I'm guessing it's expensive.

I like the email gateway since I send each alert from a unique email address
for that device, so on my phone in my messaging app, they are all nicely
threaded by device. Makes it really easy to track UPS statuses as a storm
rolls through and power is flashing. Is there a similar application that would
provide real-time alerting without breaking the bank?
