And I would expect that when hiring or being hired as an experienced pro. I
wonder how many entry level burger flipping jobs come with insurance.

I am sensitive to the needs of people with families. We can offer it earlier
if it is needed to seal a deal.

When I looked at my current role there insurance did not kick in for 90 days, I
was paying $2k per month for private market insurance for my family of 4. I
pointed out their decision to not start insurance on day one would cost me $6k
and that would affect my decision to take the role. After a little more pushing
on them, they ended up giving me a 6k sign bonus to offset the 90 days of
private insurance.

  I got crap on a job listing for offering health insurance after 6 months.
  My opinion is that we hire untrained entry level people. They are young and
poor. Young might mean healthy, poor does mean medicaid eligibility. If they
are any good and have lasted 6 months then insurance is a nice thing to add
along with PTO etc. We give raises twice a year guaranteed.

  Opinions?
