I got crap on a job listing for offering health insurance after 6 months.
My opinion is that we hire untrained entry level people.  They are young and 
poor.  Young might mean healthy, poor does mean medicaid eligibility.  If they 
are any good and have lasted 6 months then insurance is a nice thing to add 
along with PTO etc.  We give raises twice a year guaranteed.
