Ive emailed representatives about just that. They never respond, probably because the intern didnt know what i was talking about. I have two very small neighborhoods i will build a smaller scale multi tenant access network on as proof of concept if I ever have the funds. Not that taxpayer money should be ever spent on this stuff, but if it is, it should only ever be spent on physical plant, Zero electronics I always thought th e"bidding process" for taxpayers dough should only begin after the build. Basically the Map goes up of what is fundable, and whoever builds it to spec first can get a reimbursement. Theres so much dough tied up right now that realistically isnt going to be built in the next 5 years its not even funny. The argument would be made that "well smaller companies cant afford to do the build then seek reimbursement" They didnt really get a big piece of this pie anyway
