Sinewave inverter. https://www.vevor.com/modified-sine-wave-inverter-c_10763/vevor-power-inverter-modified-sine-wave-inverter-5000w-dc-48v-to-ac-120v-w-lcd-p_010884446032
I have had reasonably good luck with the Vevor stuff I have purchased. It does say modified sine wave so the output will not be as clean as a pure sine wave and it is pretty large. I did not see where they make a smaller one but the price is right. Here is a premium brand that I have used a bunch: https://exeltech.com/products/inverters/inverters-below-2k-watt-xp/125-watt-xp/ This is a tiny unit and they will do a 48 volt version. I implicitly trust anything Exeltech makes. They make any output you might want. We are in a Frontier CO and having a hard time finding -48vDC powered devices, so looking to just produce 120 vAC so we can just use standard power supplies for them. Primarily, we need to power a VDSL modem (so like 5 - 10 watts), but having a bit more would be nice for convenience. House power isn't always convenient, so it would be a good place to plug in laptops when in there working. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions Midwest Internet Exchange The Brothers WISP -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
