There used to be a product that was a fishing reel attached to a slingshot.
We had one. I presume it worked.

I need to go about 30' across a drop ceiling. I do not want to remove
any tiles in the middle. If I put a tennis ball on the end of my screw
together fiberglass rods will that be enough to bounce over the ceiling
supports as I push it? Does it need to be bigger or smoother?
